Julie Busha is the Founder and President of Nicole Foods, a food manufacturing company she co-owns which consumes the bulk of her time and efforts. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Busha spent her entire professional career in the world of sports marketing, starting with International Management Group and most recently as Director of Marketing for an agency owned by professional NASCAR driver Bobby Labonte—a company she was recruited to build in 2007 where she continued to work with her client of nearly a decade, General Mills. Since venturing out on her own, helping companies reach their potential and growing brands through strategic marketing is, without a doubt, the most fulfilling job Busha could ask for. Julie was honored this month as Progressive Grocer's 2015 "Top Women in Grocery" and a book by a major publisher coming out in 2016 will feature her story in several chapters.  Her story is so powerful and inspiring and we are THANKFUL for role models like her that come on this show to share their life lessons with us.

In this episode, Julie opens our eyes on the importance of reinvesting your money on marketing strategies that will help your business grow. She has successfully placed her product in over 8000 retail stores. Yes that's right, 8000 ! So click here to find Slawsa at a store near you.

On the other hand, Slawsa is seriously the condiment that may just change your life. We have personally tried it (Thank you Julie!) and let's just say it is not your average "sauce". In case you were wondering about the name, it is a cross between “slaw” (coleslaw) and “salsa.” Brilliant!!! Slawsa is a favorite of Hungry Girl and several other Food Network hosts because it is really changing people's perceptions of what a RELISH is or can be. Healthier, more versatile and far more flavorful. Perfect addition to our Thanksgiving table.

For the holidays, we thought we would share with you some ideas of recipes using Slawsa (Check them out here).

Shola Abidoye has completely blown our minds with her energy, expertise and mindset. She is one confident serial entrepreneur that will NOT settle down for less than what she wants and deserves.

Shola is the Chief Revenue Officer of Convertport and the world's leading expert in CRSP(TM), the scalable digital sales technology process. Her first online venture was acquired in 2012 and she has grown 3 businesses by over 10,000% in the last 5 years alone. Her mission is to save 1 million entrepreneurs from being yet another business mortality rate statistic (ask her how). Originally from Washington, DC, she lives between the East Coast, Europe and 346 ft away from the beach on the Mexican Riviera. (We're so jealous!)

She has cracked the code to unlock controllable, repeatable, scalable and predictable sales funnels for emerging businesses and she shares it all in this episode. Imagine growing your revenue and business all without the hassle associated with social media, PR, content marketing or blogging. As she stresses it multiple times, when launching and growing a business it's ALWAYS ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS! Know why they should choose you and why they shouldn't choose you.

We fell in love with Shola's enthusiasm, confidence, charismatic personality and most importantly her insightful advice:

"Figure out the type of lifestyle you want and put a specific price tag on it" -Shola

Note: Because this episode is extremely eye-opening and dense in information, make sure you are taking notes and revisiting them after the episode. As Shola said, if there is one thing you can do after this episode is to set aside 15min on your calendar with yourself and spend some time getting to know what you aspire to be.
