Brittany Hodak and Kim Kaupe, who met at an NYC advertising agency, have founded ZinePak in 2011 – an innovative packaging company that works with popular artists, celebrities and brands to create custom products such as magazines, collectibles and mixed-media packages that cater to ‘Superfans”.

This past April, we all watched Brittany and Kim rock their Shark Tank episode which got us all curious about their entrepreneurial story and how they got to where they are today. The two co-founders have self-funded their company from their own combined savings and have been lean when growing their company. And today with more than 3million in annual sales, ZinePak has attracted the attention of Robert Herjavec and Lori Greiner. The two sharks recently invested $725,000 for 17.5 percent of their business. But what happens next? And what does that mean?

Well…… in this episode, we find out how this powerful pair was approached by the show’s producers, how they prepared for the show, their secrets to being confident while pitching investors, what happened after they left the stage… and more interesting surprises and advices for women entrepreneurs.
