"When everyone is zigging, you should be zagging." - Kerry Heaps

Kerry Heaps is the Founder and President of Kerry's Network, Inc., a membership-based organization that provides exposure for business owners with events, a talk radio program on Blog Talk Radio and a quarterly e-magazine called Strictly Marketing Magazine. Kerry also owns Omega Image, an image consulting firm for men and women and K|Kouture cosmetics, an exclusive line of fine skincare and cosmetics.

Kerry has an extensive background in Sales, Networking, Recruiting, and Training. She is a former Model who specialized in Trade Show and Print work. She is also an experienced judge on the beauty pageant circuit. After a brief career in modeling, Kerry soon found herself on the other side of the desk as a Modeling Instructor, booking models on assignments and teaching classes on Color Analysis, Make-up, Body Language and Acting.

"I'm very big on you have to learn how to lose gracefully, because it's just part of life. So I don't really sugarcoat things for people - that does resonate in my business as well. Sometimes I have to tell people things that they don't want to hear. But I'm doing them a disservice if I don't do that."

Kerry is also a contributing writer for http://www.divinecaroline.com http://www.womenco.com and hosts a talk radio program with Blog Talk Radio. Kerry has interviewed celebrities such as Co-Host of Shark Tank, Barbara Corcoran, Author Larry Winget, Former Miss West Virginia and QVC Talk Show host, Kim Parrish and many more successful business entrepreneurs.

Kerry is the author of Marketing Ideas that make Sen$e a marketing development book that covers networking, cold calling, establishing yourself as an expert, creating your own media, marketing ideas and sample scripts. (Via Savor The Success)

“It’s more than a business,” shared Jacqueline Ros, founder and CEO of Revolar, a Denver, Colorado based personal safety wearable tech company. “It’s a movement. A movement of people taking back their lives; people living their lives without worrying about what they are wearing, where they are going, or what time they’re going out. We use empowerment and not fear. That’s the entire point of Revolar.” - Via Amysmartgirls

As the CEO and founder of Revolar, Jacqueline has always held a passion for social issues. Jacqueline founded Revolar to disrupt rape culture and change the way people keep themselves and those they love safe. At the helm of Revolar, Jacqueline and her team ran a successful Kickstarter campaign, did the Techstars Boulder 2015 accelerator program, made the Top 25 for Sir Richard Branson’s Extreme Tech Challenge and most recently closed a $3 million financing round with The Foundry Group. Jacqueline is a Florida native, but moved to Denver, CO three years ago to build Revolar where she enjoys rock climbing, volunteering and spending time with her family.

In this episode, Jacqueline tell us all about her journey to becoming a successful tech rockstar and overcoming the huge learning curve and challenges on her ascent to the top! Our favorite part about her project? Her commitment to the movement of women empowerment! Here's one of our favorite statements from her:

"Everything is about positive relationships and building authentic relationships with people who know what it takes to make this happen, and it's been really incredible to have that support  in our community."
